meh CAT

This will be my third cat review and that's pretty surprising given my hostility to pet pictures masquerading as art but this one has something different. Its all about the light and texture of the work.

This picture has soooo much happening in it visually. The light and shadow, high contrast and colours. Even though the cat is basically black, white and brown, it gives the eyes a feast of subtle variations, which is offset by the reflective eyes. The green eyes and plants in the background complement all the brown and dark colours.

This picture has a great texture to it (I'm not sure if that's the right term in photography). The fur is so bristly that it looks like you could pick up the cat and scoure your dirty oven pans with it. This makes it very interesting to look at.

My only criticism is perhaps I would have included the ears in the work and had it a little more on centre. Other than that it's a really effective work of art.
